I'm Kyle Thomas.
From Cubicle to Crushing It...
When I was 24 years old, I was stuck. I was working a job I hated and felt like life and my career were passing me by. That year would be the wildest, most life-changing year of my life.
Over the course of the next year, I would meet my future wife at a music festival in Las Vegas, backpack solo across Guatemala, quit my job in Seattle, and move across the country to New York City.
Within less than 90 days of quitting and moving across the country, I landed my dream job as the 250th employee at Uber. I doubled my salary, secured millions of dollars in stock options, and got strapped into the rocketship of the fastest-growing company in tech.
I went from stuck in a cubicle hating my life to feeling on fire, excited to get to work everyday, and getting paid way more!
I worked at Uber for 7 years and led the expansion across the Northeast US. I launched and built out billion dollar Uber Rides markets in New Jersey, Connecticut, New York State, and e-Bikes in New York City. It was an amazing ride!
After Uber...
During the pandemic in 2020, Uber sold their e-bike division and laid off the department. After almost a decade, I found myself job hunting and determining my next move.
It was then that I realized something...
Nothing had changed!
The job search advice from the prior decade was still being shared, but competitiveness had increased significantly.
Instead of taking the "common advice," I used the same method that landed me my role at Uber.
Once again, in less than 90 days, I had landed a role as VP of Operations at a well-funded company out of Y-Combinator, increased my salary by over 60% (>$100k) and set myself up in a role that would provide me access to every experience, skill, teacher, and network I wanted.
My Realization...
I had applied a proven system to land multiple life-changing career-accelerating roles in less than 90 days without applying online and without the anxiety, uncertainty, and loneliness of the average job hunt.
I became fascinated in how people landed their dream jobs and you know what I found?
